When PizzaExpress first opened in 1965, the first day’s takings came to £3. As the British public’s taste for pizza evolved, so did the PizzaExpress experience. Rustic styling got a shot of sophistication. Plastic cutlery soon gave way to the real thing. Square pizzas became round, and round menus became square. At Pizza Express we are Passionate about service and work hard to give our customers the warm welcome and attentive service they deserve.
